The idea of god in islam (component 2 of 2): His attributes and His Oneness

The idea of god in islam (component 2 of 2): His attributes and His Oneness
God’s attributes
Can there be more than one writer with such absolute attributes?  Can there be, as an example,  actually effective creators?  A moment’s concept suggests that this isn't viable.
The quran summarizes this argument within the following verses:
“god has no longer taken to himself any son, neither is there any god with him: for then every god might have taken of that which he created and some of them could have risen up over others.” (quran 23:91)
The Oneness of God
The quran reminds us of the falsity of all alleged gods.  To the worshippers of artificial gadgets it asks:
“do you worship what you have got carved your self?” (quran 37:95)
Story of Abraham:
“whilst night outspread over him, he saw a celebrity and stated, ‘this is my lord.’  but whilst it set, he stated, ‘i really like not the setters.’  when he saw the moon growing, he said, ‘this is my lord.’  however whilst it set, he stated, ‘if my lord does no longer guide me, i shall really be of the human beings gone off beam.’  whilst he saw the sun rising, he stated, ‘that is my lord; that is more.’  but whilst it set, he said, ‘o my human beings, simply i end that that you partner, i have grew to become my face to him who originated the heavens and the earth; a man of natural religion, i'm no longer one of the idolaters.’” (quran 6:76-79)
The believer’s attitude
With a purpose to be a muslim, this is, to give up oneself to god, it is necessary to agree with in the oneness of god, inside the sense of his being the simplest writer, preserver, nourisher, and so on.  But this perception is not enough.  Among the idolaters knew and believed that simplest the excellent god could do all this.  However this became now not sufficient to cause them to muslims.  Similarly to this belief, one should well known the fact that it is god alone who deserves to be worshipped, and as a result abstains from worshipping another component or being.
Having accomplished this understanding of the one actual god, guy need to continuously have confidence in him, and ought to permit not anything to set off him to deny reality.
What this indicates is that, if one submits knowingly to god without reservations, and admits he's the best one worthy of your worship, one have to therefore worship him. This is, knowing we owe him obedience means putting into exercise what we acknowledge in our hearts. God asks, rhetorically:
“did you watched that we had created you in with out cause, and that you could not be introduced returned to us?” (quran 23:a hundred and fifteen)
Hence, when religion enters someone’s coronary heart, it causes certain mental states that result in positive movements.  Taken collectively, those mental states and actions are the proof for the genuine faith.  The prophet, can also the mercy and benefits of god be upon him, said:
“faith is that which is living firmly inside the heart and that is proved by deeds.”
Essential among those mental states is the feeling of gratitude toward god, which could be stated to be the essence of worship.
The sensation of gratitude is so vital that a non-believer is called ‘kafir’, this means that ‘one that denies a reality’ and additionally ‘one who's ungrateful’.
A believer loves, and is grateful to god for the bounties he has bestowed upon him, but being privy to the reality that his good deeds, whether or not mental or physical, are some distance from being commensurate with divine favors, he is constantly demanding lest god ought to punish him, right here or inside the hereafter.  He consequently fears him, surrenders himself to him and serves him with brilliant humility.  One cannot be in any such mental country with out being almost all of the time aware of god.  Remembering god is for that reason the life pressure of faith, with out which it fades and withers away.
The quran attempts to sell this feeling of gratitude by repeating the attributes of god very regularly.  We discover maximum of those attributes cited collectively within the following verses of the quran:
“he is god; there may be no god however he.  He is the knower of the unseen and the visible; he's the all-merciful, the all-compassionate.  He's god; there's no god but he.  He is the king, the all-holy, the all-peace, the guardian of the faith, the all-preserver, the all-effective, the all-compeller, the all-elegant.  Glory be to god, above that they companion!  He's god, the writer, the maker, the shaper.  To him belong the names most lovely.  All that is in the heavens and the earth magnifies him; he is the almighty, the all-smart.” (quran fifty nine:22-24)
As a result we have 3 components to our acknowledgement of god because the simplest genuine god. We need to agree with he is the ultimate writer, controller and decide of the universe and the entirety in it; we ought to refrain from the worship of something except him, after which definitely direct our worship to him; and we have to understand that he by myself has all of the divine attributes and names, and we cannot observe them to any other being, regardless of who they are.   If one merely acknowledges with one’s lips these requirements, even should we refrain from applying them to other gods, it isn't always sufficient. They have to be definitely directed to the one you acknowledge as well.
